∞ ChalkBoard Sign ∞

So I am an uncrafty crafter.  I try my hand at a lot of different projects.  Some turn out great and others are a hot mess.  I thought I would share with you a cute chalkboard sign I made for my daughter's first birthday party that turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself.  The project cost me under $5 and is something I can definitely use again for other purposes.  You will need the following items:

• Chalkboard ($2.99 at Michaels)
• Paint (73¢ Antique White paint at Michaels)
• Paint Brush (I already had this but you can find one at any home store or craft store)
• Ribbon (I reused ribbon I had but you can find ribbon at any craft store)
• Chalk ($1 from Target)
• Hot Glue Gun (I already had one but you can find them for $2.99 at Joann fabrics, Michaels or Wal-Mart)
• Glue Sticks (also an item I already had.  You can find these at both Joann fabrics, Michaels or Wal-Mart)

I painted the outside wooden frame with my antique white paint.  Once that was dry I hot glued the ribbon to the back of the wooden frame.  And viola I had a cute little sign for my daughter's first Birthday party. Other cute Birthday ideas to follow during the next month as I prepare for the festivities!
